*Dr. PawPaw Review.

Hello everyone. So today's post is a review. I've been testing out the *Dr. PawPaw Multipurpose Balm over the past month and although I haven't used it every day, I do feel like now I have a strong opinion on it. I got sent a 10ml tube and it has been a handbag staple for me over the past month.

I got sent the Original Balm but there are a few more balms in the range. There are three different colours - Original Clear, Tinted Pink Peach and Tinted Red. The original balm is clear and so it's great for applying on any area of the skin because it isn't coloured. I've not tried any products from Dr. PawPaw so I wasn't sure what to expect.

It is suitable to use as a lip balm, to sooth irritated skin, to moisturise cracked heels and to soften nail cuticles. It can also be used as a make-up primer and finisher. I have to admit I haven't used it for hair and beauty finishing or my cuticles and nails but I have been using it for my skin and my lips. I mainly used it as a lip balm as it has a consistency like Vaseline and is very thick. It helped my dry lips, dry patches on my face and arms as I have eczema and it even helped my bites on my legs.

The formula is thick but not sticky which is what I want from a moisturising product. I don't have anything bad to say about this product as it really just does a good job. I'm sure I'll try it on my cracked heels and cuticles at some point but I really love it as a lip balm. I thought I'd found a holy grail lip balm a few months but compared to this - it really isn't. I think this product could become my real holy grail lip product as it's amazing.

As the name suggests, the balms main ingredient is fermented Pawpaw. This is a fruit from the Carica Papaya plant which is full of vitamins and minerals, used to aid repair, moisturise, sooth and to help tighten skin. It also includes Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice used to promote youthful looking skin and hair and Olea Euopaea (Olive) Fruit Oil which is great for dry skin and hair and helps prevent damage.

Dr. PawPaw has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. It cleanses and tones the skin, treating blemishes and acting as a perfect base for skin care. I also love how this product uses a variety of natural products.

Dr. PawPaw is £6.95 for a 25ml tube, or £13.90 for 3 (and you can get different mixes of the colours for this). Dr. PawPaw also do a 200ml tube for £29.99. You can find all the products at www.drpawpaw.com. I also think you can buy Dr. PawPaw in places such as Urban Outfitters.

I'd highly recommend this product.

Have you ever tried Dr. PawPaw products?
