Disappointing Products #2.

Hello everyone. So this post has been waiting to be written for quite a while now but I've been waiting until I had a little collection. I don't like having disappointing products, hence why this is my 2nd post. I normally find products that I enjoy and therefore they don't disappoint me but along the way I have found some products that just haven't worked for me. A slight disclaimer to this is, that just because a product doesn't work for me, doesn't mean it won't work for you. I also probably love other products from these brands, just not this particular product. If you want to see my first disappointing products post then you can read it here.

*Cocoa Brown Lovely Legs Spray - I was really disappointed with this product, mainly because I was expecting it to be amazing. I have tried other Cocoa Brown products and absolutely love them, so I had high hopes for this. Sadly, it wasn't meant to be. I just found that it didn't matter how I applied it, I just never got a smooth application. It became patchy on my legs and just looked horrible. I even emailed Cocoa Brown to ask them for some advice on how to apply it and I followed their steps and it still didn't work. My skin obviously doesn't like this product, which is a shame because I love most of the Cocoa Brown Range. I tried this product on 10 different occasions and I still got the same effect every time I used it. I have to be honest, I've never used 'Leg Make Up' before but it didn't make the slightest bit of difference. At £7.99, it's not too expensive and it's a few pounds cheaper than the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Make Up. Although the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs comes in a lotion as well as the spray and in different shade ranges.

Witch: Witch Hazel Bursting Beads Face Wash - One of the worst face washes I have ever used. It claims to clear up your skin and help with blemishes and it did neither for me. It was too 'soapy' I get that it's a face wash but it just didn't feel very nice. It had the bursting beads in it, which I was really excited about but they did nothing and left me very disappointed. I've sadly been disappointed with a few Witch products that I've tried. In the end, my skin started to break out because of this product and I just really didn't like it. At £3.99, it's not exactly going to break the bank but I personally don't think this product does what it claims.

*Clarins Beauty Flash Eye Revive (3ml) - I first mentioned this product back in April when I got sent it from Cosme-de.com and you can read that post here. In that post I said that I loved it and the more I used it, the less I became to like it. I found a better eye cream and it really changed my opinion. It didn't really sink into my under eye area and it didn't really do anything for me. I'd never used an eye cream until I got this, but now that I have my Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado, I find that the Clarins Beauty Flash Eye Revive isn't as good as I once thought. I featured the Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado in another Cosme-de.com post in April to celebrate their anniversary and you can read it here.

The Body Shop Orange Lip Roll-On - I bought this product last November when I was spending a bit too much money on The Body Shop's website - which is normally the case. I don't think you can get this online anymore but you may still be able to get these in-store but I'm not 100% sure. I'd never heard of a lip roll-on as such and I was intrigued to see what results it would show. I do like the roll-on part of this product; it's cooling and it's easy and can be easily cleaned. The thing I don't like about this product is that it's not particularly moisturising and it can be slippery on the lips. Overall I was very disappointed with this product and considering I paid £4 for it, I hoped it was going to be amazing but it's not as good as a lip balm.

*Australian Bodycare Anytime Balm - This product was such a disappointment. I liked the packaging but if I saw it in a shopping centre, I probably wouldn't be tempted to pick it up. I was excited to try this product because I've been trying quite a few multipurpose balm's out at the moment and I'd previously been using the DR. PAWPAW Mulitpurpose Balm which you can see my review here. I had very high hopes for this product (Australian Bodycare Anytime Balm) but it let me down badly. When I opened the lid and smelt the product, it didn't particularly smell very nice. I can't really describe the smell but it's not very pleasant. Then I tried the product. It looked really creamy but it wasn't. I really struggled to lather it up because it just wouldn't budge out of the pot. Once I'd struggled to get some of the product out of the jar, I put it on some of my extremely dry skin. After 30 minutes, all of the skin started to peel. Now if I'd have been wanting an exfoliating session, it would have been perfect but I didn't. If I were to go out in public with this product on my face and it started to peel off my skin, it wouldn't be a very pleasant sight and I'd be very embarrassed. It didn't moisturise my face in the slightest and it was just a huge disappointment. I tried it on my lips as a lip balm and it didn't moisturise them at all. They remained dry and flaky. For £13.50, it's not the cheapest of products compared to the DR. PAWPAW Multipurpose Balm which works 110% better and is a lot cheaper.

*Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara - You will see that I already spoke about this in my Latest In Beauty Review, which you can read here. It's an okay mascara. It didn't blow me away and I did find that it tends to fall down on your face after about 20 minutes of you wearing it. I've used better mascaras and for a lot cheaper than this one and so this is why I'm disappointed. It's definitely nothing special but it's not the worse mascara I've ever tried. For £9.99 it's not the most expensive mascara on the market but there are definitely better mascaras on the market for an even cheaper price.

So they are all my disappointing products! I hope you enjoyed this post!
