*Wantable February Makeup Box 2014 Review ♥

So today's post is about the lovely Wantable  who kindly sent me this lovely February box for review, this is a sponsored post but all views are my own and are 100% honest. A big thank you to Wantable! Also firstly I would like to say that the customer service is amazing! I'm so impressed with the company! They're so polite and are just so good, they're the best company customer service I've ever had. I will also be doing individual reviews of all the products I received once I've given them a thorough test drive. I received my box within 8 days so I was so impressed as I live in the UK and they estimate delivery 10-14 days. I was so excited when I got a knock on my door and I had to sign for it and then my Wantable box was all mine and trust me I was so excited, I even had a happy dance. 

I firstly love the packaging of this box, it is so nice! Very simple but I love it.

Wantable is a subscription service that offers hand selected makeup, accessories and intimates that match your style preference which I think is a wonderful idea as most beauty box subscription services just put in products and let's be honest you might not like half of them. They match your style preference by you answering their very detailed questionnaire. If you fill in the questionnaire and say that you don't like a particular type of product then they will never put it in your box. On the other hand if you claim to love or like a product then it can appear in your box.Wantable offer a one-off purchase of a box for $40 which is around £24 or a $36 per month subscription which is around £21.62
On my bloglovin' feed I have seen lots of February boxes therefore I had high hopes for mine. Wantable give 4 to 5 full-sized premium makeup products in each box.

So what did I have in mine?

This month's box is inspired to bring us all into the latest spring makeup trends.

When I opened my box I was greeted with 'Hello, Knockout!' which I thought was very cute! Also beneath it is a letter telling you about everything you put in the questionnaire and the list of the products you have received along with  the retail prices.

On the back of the slip with 'Hello,Knockout!' on it, it said "Enjoy your box lovely! Nobody reads these, so a gold star and some wisdom for you" and then it gives the quote "One is never over or underdressed with a little black dress" - Karl Lagerfeld.

So once I removed the top sponge material that was in my box to protect the contents I was greeted by 4 lovely items and I was very intrigued. 

I first picked up this Sorme mineral botanicals Blush/Bronzer Duo in Sunshine which I was very excited about this product as I have never actually owned a 2 in 1 product so I was excited to see what was inside. I was a tad worried about the colour of the bronzer as I didn't know if it would be too dark for my pale complexion. "This luxurious, 70% natural duo gives you fresh, summery radiance with healthy, natural minerals, vitamin C and E, plus antioxidant pomegranate and  rooibos extracts help treat your skin and defend against aging free radicals. The sheer matte formula melds with your skin perfectly." Hopefully this product will be one of my favourites. It retails for $28 which is £16.81 GBP.

The compact is quite plain and boring but as it is bio- natural I thought it emphasized that.

When I opened the compact I was happy with the colour of the blush but I was still a tad worried about the bronzer, it also has a nice mirror. (Please ignore how the blush and bronzer looks but it was kinda sunny and it reflected the curtains onto the shiny cover.)

I swatched both colours:
Left - Blush
Right - Bronzer
The blush is very pale and natural however I prefer a light blush so this is perfect, the bronzer is quite dark but I'm hoping if I only use a tad each time and blend it out well it will look natural.

Next I picked up this from Girlactik beauty which is the heaven's dust in the shade Angel Gold , I didn't actually know what it was, all I knew was that it was titled 'heaven's dust' and so I decided to open the packaging up and find out. The packaging was quite vintage and I thought it was nice. 

I then got the little pot out and as you can see the lid is a mirror so you can see me taking a photo of it sorry hehe.

I opened the lid and was greeted with this and once I read the letter I knew that it was a kind of glitter dust. "Heaven's dust is like having crystals on your skin. It's very glam in a sophisticated way" I'm not quite sure if I will use this as I don't really like too much glitter on my face but I may use it on my shoulders. I'll keep you updated in my full review what I use it for. This retails for $19 which is £11.41.

Next I picked up this Face Stockholm Nail Varnish in the shade Want-A-Blue which is a really nice colour! I'm really into blue/grey nail varnishes and it will look super cute! "This exclusive grey-blue shade is perfect for cool fall daus. FACE Stockholm's iconic polishes are coveted all over the world, and even sold in JCREW!" This retails at $12 which is £7.20 but overall I am looking forward to using this product.

The last thing I picked up was the La Bella Donna mineral light lip in the shade Shell and I love the packaging as it is shiny and is so different to anything I've ever seen. As soon as I took the lid off and smelt it, it smelt of chocolate and I was in love. "Rich, creamy with a satiny texture and lush shine describes this La Bella Donna makeup artist's favourite. Ceramide 2 nourishes and conditions the lips providing the perfect protection for lips long after the appearance of colour disappears. La Bella Donna's mineral pigments are long-lasting and create lips that are very luminous when viewed from different angles of light." This retails for $24.50 which is £14.71. 

I didn't really know what to think of the colour when I first opened the lid however it wasn't a dark colour but it wasn't too bright.

I swatched it on my hand and it looks a red-orange toned brown and it looks quite natural. 

Please ignore this horrible quality but this is the lipstick on my lips. It looks so natural and it is a nice shine finish. 

Overall in my box I got 4 items and they were all brands I have never heard of which has introduced me to those brands and the total value of my box is $83.50 which is £50.13 and so overall I was very happy. Champneys Spa Treatment │ Wild Rose Bathing Cream Review ♥

Hola my lovelies!

 Today I thought I'd give you a review of the Champneys Spa Treatment - Wild Rose Bathing Cream. I have recently finished this since the photos were taken but it's so good! You can buy it here

Firstly the bottle really does stand out. I love how it is clear but has the gold lid and banner. It's such a lovely little bottle and looks nice and fancy compared to most products. Inside you get white bathing cream which smells absolutely gorgeous when you put it in your bath and it makes loads of bubbles.

What I like/love about this product
- The packaging - It's so classy and different - Makes the product look really expensive.
- The contents - It's a creamy consistency but makes lots and lots of bubbles.
- The smell - It smells how it should and it fills your whole bathroom with fragrance.
- How it is relaxing.

What I don't like about this product
- It doesn't seem to last very long even when you use a small amount even though it is a 300ml bottle however I would love to see a travel size bottle.

When I first got this product I didn't really know what to do with it although the instructions on the back of the bottle are very clear and I found out how I could use it. It makes your skin feel lovely.

This product is available at Boots, It is normally £6.00 however it is currently £3.00 so while the deal is on you should get your hands on one.

Lush Haul ♥

Aloha you lovely lot! Today's post is a Lush Haul for you. Last Month I went to Lush for the first time and I wanted to buy some products so I could review them and do a haul. I'd advise you to check out Lush's website for all their lovely products click here.
They had their valentine range in when I went and  it smelt so good! I will be doing an individual review of each product, so keep an eye out for them.

Anyways I went to Lush and bought the following products...

Ickle Baby Bot bath bomb - buy here it is only £1.95.

This is the ickle baby bot! It is the most adorable bath bomb I have ever seen. This is a vegan product which I love.

The next item I got was...

Space Girl bath bomb - buy it here it is £2.25.

This is the space girl bath bomb which really caught my eye! It is pretty big for a bath bomb but it smells so fruity and lovely! It is another vegan product.

The next product I got was...

Creamy Candy bubble bar - buy here it is £2.50.

This is the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar I love having lots of bubbles in my bath so I thought I'd give it a go, it feels really weird and crumbles really easily. The only thing I don't really like is the smell. Yet again this is another vegan product.

The next thing I bought was...

Love lettuce fresh face mask - buy here this is £5.95 for 75g.

I've been after a new brand and a new face mask so I looked on the website and saw this one. Although the title doesn't really appeal to me I read that it is good for oily skin which I have so I was basically persuaded by that. It doesn't really smell of much and the colour isn't that appealing either however I have tried it 3 times now and it has cleared up my face amazing. This isn't a vegan product however it has been approved by vegetarians.

The next item I got was...

Dirty Toothy Tabs - buy here for £2.00

These are the dirty toothy tabs I got these because I always like to find alternatives to just my normal toothpaste. I bought these because they were the cheapest and they do such a good job however they taste quite vile. They are also a vegan product.

So at the counter I got persuaded to buy this trial version/sample of their charity pot. I haven't tried it yet however it smells so good. The charity pot is a hand and body lotion and it is also a vegan product.

*The Week Magazine Review ♥

Hello everyone!

So today I'm doing a post about The Week Magazine which is quite off topic as I'm normally posting about beauty however I feel like this comes under lifestyle and as I am a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blog I thought I would give it a whirl. Let me know if you liked this post in the comments as I do posts to please you readers.

So anyway I got sent this magazine to review which I will be doing today. I firstly read what the company had to say about the magazine and this is what they said:

"The week magazine gives you a concise, refreshing and balanced take on the news from the past seven days. Taken from over 200 print and online sources, The Week brings you only the best news, comment and opinion from the UK and overseas, bringing you up to date with everything you need to know in just one hour. What’s more, you’ll also get the lighter side of the news, with the latest arts, people, food and drink, travel, properties – and much more!"

I read a lot of magazines and so I feel like this would be a little bit different from my weekly gossip/fashion and beauty magazines.

So as you can see this week I have a very.co.uk magazine, an ok! magazine, a new! magazine and The Week magazine which does stand out slightly.

I actually thought the front cover stood out well. However the magazine is quite thin and doesn't have as many pages as my normal magazine (that could be just me).

The week magazine covers several categories which is quite interesting. My favourite section was the drama and film pages. 

The title is quite bold and stands out. 

Verdict:
I feel like the magazine is quite overpriced, it is £3.10 which I feel is a lot of money and I can normally get 4 magazines for that price and I didn't expect it to be that much. For the amount you get as well I wouldn't pay that price. However I like how this is a different magazine to what I normally read and I like how they have so many categories.

The categories vary and the first pages are the main stories which this week the main one was 'facing the floods' so many people have been flooded because of the heavy downpour and it was good to see that a magazine had covered it.Then you get other categories such as Politics, Europe at a glance, The world at a glance, people, briefing - which this weeks story was on boosting adoption. Best articles for Britain such as 'do you really know what you're eating, Best articles for Europe,  Best articles internationally such as 'Let's stop glamorising criminals'. Health and Science, talking points, Sport, letters - Pick of the week's correspondence, arts - review of reviews; Books, Drama, Film, Artists, Galleries, The list, Best properties on the market, Your home, Leisure; food and drink, travel, consumer, obituaries, city - Companies in the news and how they were assessed such as Poundland, Talking points of the issue; forward guidance 2, Commentators, Marketplace and Travel, Shares, The last word and crossword. It has a category for everyone unless you're looking for beauty and fashion.

Overall this magazine was very intriguing and I liked most of the categories that was in it however I feel like it is overpriced therefore I will not be purchasing it.

I just want to thank the company of The Week for letting me review this product but my opinions and 100% honest and my own.

After spending a few days going through the entries to check who had entered properly I came across quite a lot of incorrect entries. However this post is not about focusing on the negatives. You may remember that this time last month I reached 100 followers which is amazing! I'm currently 26 away from 300 which is mad but so so lovely. ♥

Revlon Lip Butter ♥│ Review.

Salut! my lovelies! Today's post is another review but it is about a Revlon Lip Butter.

I went into Superdrug and I went make up shopping to find this lovely thing in the Revlon section and found out that instead of being £7.99 it had gone down to £5 so I then deliberated which one to get so I chose this... You can buy them here

What I like/Love about this product.

- The packaging - it's quite fancy and I just love it.

- How the product is very moisturizing.

- The colour is quite faint but is buildable.

- It smells delicious.

- There is a variety of colours.

What I don't like about this product.

- The price tag - I feel like it is quite expensive compared to a The Body Shop lip butter which is only £4.

- The contents is slightly small, You don't really get a lot for the money you pay.

- I don't  really know what the 'hype' was about, yes it is moisturizing but I feel it isn't really worth the money.

- Colour fades easily.

Overall I think this product is nice as a gift however I don't think I will be buying another one as I feel you don't get enough for your money and it just fades quite easily. Luckily I only paid £5.
