DIY: Milk and white chocolate cookies.

Hello everyone. Today's post is another DIY and it's a recipe on how to make milk and white chocolate cookies. They are really straight forward and are something quick but delicious to make. Now I know most of us would agree that we have eaten far too much over the festive period and me posting about chocolate cookies probably isn't the best but I'm not saying you have to do them but I wanted to share the recipe just in case any of you do decide to make them because then you can tweet me (@imcalledmeg_) I'd love to see them! Anyway onto the recipe!

Ingredients/Equipment:

- Scales
- Wooden Spoon
- 200g Butter (room temperature)
- 300g Caster Sugar
- 1 large egg
- 325g Self Raising Flour
- Dash of Milk
- 200g of milk chocolate
- 200g of white chocolate
- 2 trays with greaseproof paper or foil
- Whisk
- Bowl

Method:

1. Preheat Oven to 200°C.
2. Measure out your ingredients.
2. Mix together the butter and sugar with a whisk.
3.  Crack the egg and mix that into the butter and sugar.
4. Gradually add in the self raising flour and whisk.
5. If the mixture is dry, add a dash of milk.
6. Break up the chocolate and mix it into the mixture.
7. Grab a hand full of mixture and put it onto the tray.
8. Put them in the oven.
9. Leave them in for 10 minutes.
10. Leave them to cool for 20-30 minutes.
11. Enjoy!

As you can see from the image above. I like to put a big hand full onto the trays because I love to eat big cookies, however you can put as much or as less mixture onto the tray as you wish.

When they came out the oven. As you can see if the cookies aren't spaced out enough they will go into each other but for me that isn't too much of a problem because once they are cool you can just get a knife and separate them.

More cookies that have gone into each other but don't panic! Just let them cool and then separate them with a knife!

Massive cookies on a plate! They smell and taste delicious!

I hope you've enjoyed me sharing this recipe with you! Do let me know if you make some!
