July Empties.

Hello everyone. So it's the end of July, how crazy? So I thought I'd share my July empties with you. At the start of this month you saw a very delayed June empties and I had a lot of empties then. If you would like to read my June empties post then you can here. For the past few months I have just gone through products so fast and so I thought I'd tell you about them and whether I would repurchase them. As you can tell by the photos, I don't store my empties in a box or anything. I simply take a photo when I've finished the product and then it goes straight in the bin but maybe I should keep them all together from now on.

So my first empty product may come as no surprise to some of you and yes it's my holy grail shampoo by Alberto Balsam. This is the get fresh shampoo and it's for normal to greasy hair. Now as most of you know I have greasy hair and so this works perfectly for me. I will forever repurchase this product and I already have a new one that I'm using in my bathroom. I love this shampoo as it really clarifies my hair and gets rid of all the grease and dirt. It does the job as expected and is only £1. It's a total bargain and I will continue to repurchase this. This must be my 21st bottle that I have finished and I just love it. If you have greasy hair like me, I really recommend this. You can buy it here for £1. I would give it a rating of 10/10. I cannot fault this product and this will always be a firm favourite of mine. I usually don't have holy grail products but this is definitely one of them.

Then my next lot of empties are products that I finished in the middle of July and most of them are by Nourish and one of them is by The Body Shop. The first product I finished from Nourish was their Soothing Toning Mist. Now I've never tried a mist before as I didn't really get the point of them and to a certain point I still don't. This didn't do anything for my skin other than cool it down. This is from their sensitive skin range. The full sized product is 100ml and comes in at £11.00 which is rather pricey for a mist if you ask me. I will not repurchase this product and I would give it a rating of 2/10.

The next product from Nourish that I finished was their Calming Moisturiser. I'm not sure how much was in the jar but it has lasted me a really long time. For the full sized version (50ml) it comes in at £19.00. For me personally, I just didn't like this product at all. When I first started using this product it was very chalky and the texture of it is just not very nice. It just didn't work for me and I think the main reason behind it was that it was just too thick. My personal preference for face moisturisers are that they are hydrating but light and this just didn't have any of those qualities. It has a funny smell too. However if you are into a very thick face cream then you may like this product. It just didn't sink into my skin very well and it made me break out when I used it but I managed to finish the whole pot and I'd had it since September last year - so it did last me well. I feel like the texture is more like a face mask than a moisturiser but that could just be me. I wouldn't repurchase this product as it just wasn't good for my skin and there are better, cheaper alternatives to this product if you have sensitive skin. For example; I'm currently using The Body Shop's Aloe Soothing Day Cream for both day and night and it is very moisturising but light too and for 50ml it is £12.00 which is slightly cheaper. I would give this Nourish product a rating of 1/10.

The last Nourish product I finished in July is the Softening Cleanser which I got the 50ml size. The full size is again 100ml and comes in at £13.00 which isn't too bad. Again all this range has a funny smell and I didn't love this product. It was soft on my skin but again it didn't do much. It's a pretty standard cleanser. In the end I used it with my Magnitone Lucid and I liked this combination. The cleanser for me personally, is just too runny and pump wasn't always ideal. I wouldn't repurchase this product and would give it a rating of 3/10.

Then I finished The Body Shop's Aloe Calming Toner (As you can see when I got all of these products my skin must have been really sensitive and it still is sensitive - just not as bad) and this is the little travel size version which is so cute and really handy. I did really like this toner and it was very gentle on my skin. The full size version is 200ml and comes in at £9.50 which isn't the cheapest of their toners but it is worth the money and I will repurchase this in the future I'm sure. I had the 60ml travel size one (I think you can only get these in store) and it lasted me a good 6 months. The size that I got is very travel friendly and great if you're going on holiday. I would give this a rating of 8/10.

Then I finished a shower gel which was the Lady Gaga The Fame Shower Gel which is also known as Black Fluid. I really liked this shower gel (It came with the fame perfume which I got as a set at Christmas) and it smelt so fruity and lovely and it has that element of fun to it because when you squeeze it out - it's black but then when you rub it in, it turns into a white foam. It's a standard shower gel really but I did enjoy using it. I won't be repurchasing as I don't really have a holy grail shower gel as I like to mix and match but it is nice. I got the 75ml one but the 200ml is £15.00 but Fragrance Direct have it for £4.99 if anyone is interested. I have linked it above. I would give it a rating of 7/10.

Then as always I have a body fragrance that I've finished. Again, there is no surprise that it is Impulse because I only really use impulse but this was the Temptation Scent with Vanilla and Peach and it was really nice actually. These sprays are £1.99 each so they don't cost a lot either. Boots currently have them on offer for £1 though. I probably wouldn't repurchase as I again like to mix and match with fragrances but I would give it a rating of 7/10.

Then I finished this product which is just a mouthwash which my dentist gave me and so there's nothing much to say about this product other than I probably won't be getting it again but it was an okay mouthwash. I'd give it a rating of 5/10.

Then I finished my Imperial Leather Silk Anti-Perspirant deodorant. In the summer months I seem to use deodorant a lot more as I tend to use it 2-3 times a day just because I like to remain smelling nice. This was my 5th bottle and I might repurchase it in the future but at this moment in time I've actually purchased a new brand of deodorant. I think I paid around £0.89p for this at the time so it's very affordable and does the job that you want it to. I would give this a rating of 8/10.

Then I finished a packet of Natura facial wipes which I use to remove make up off my hand when I'm doing swatches and just to cleanse my face in a morning (because I am lazy) and at times to get the first layer of my make up off and then I use other products after. I go through these wipes a lot as you get 25 wipes in a pack and you get 3 x 25 packs for £1 which is a bargain. I have since repurchased them again and I am currently using them. I would give these a rating of 9/10. I just get these from my local Savers so I can't find a link to them.

Then the last thing I finished this month is the *Blanx WhiteShock Non-Abrasive Toothpaste which I did a review on so I won't say too much about it but you can read my review here. I really loved this product and used every last drop out of the tube. I enjoyed using this product even though it didn't really whiten my teeth. You could also attach the LED light to this tube if you really wanted. It had a nice minty taste and it wasn't overwhelming and it cleaned my teeth fine. I really liked using this product and would happily repurchase in the future. This retails in Boots for £4.99. I would give this a rating of 8/10.
So that's all my empties for July. I hope you've enjoyed this post.

What empties have you had this month?

Project 10 Pan.

Hello everyone. So today's post is focused on a project that will be an ongoing thing and I will be able to do updates on these items. It's called Project 10 Pan and I believe it was created by Laura of 'Buy now, Blog Later'. The idea behind this project is that you pick 10 products and use them all up, before you buy any more. The reason why I want to do this project is because I have quite a lot of things and I tend to have more than one of a certain product and so the idea for me is to use up one of the products before starting a new one that I have already purchased or repurchasing a different product but that does the same purposes. For example I might buy a strawberry The Body Shop Body Butter instead of repurchasing the Chocomania one (Which was limited edition for Christmas). I'm wanting to use up old products and I'm wanting to create more room in my storage. Lately, I haven't been buying but I just want to downsize and have one product. Instead of having 3 different face washes I just want one. For project 10 pan you are probably meant to have 10 different items from different categories e.g. one from nails, one for face, one make up item. But I just wanted to pick some items that I need to use up so I don't have any make up this time round but if I continue this project than I probably will include make up too. I use more skincare than make up and this is why I have picked skincare to start off with. Once I have finished one of these items, I will replace it with another product that I have to use up. I haven't given myself a time limit in which I should have used them up but I'll probably do an update in 2-3 months time when hopefully they should be all gone.

So without further a do I will tell you about the product I'm wanting to use up.

1. Witch - Witch Hazel Bursting Beads Face Wash (150ml) - 1/2 a bottle left.
2. Cocoa Brown - 1 Hour Dark Tanning Mousse (150ml) -  1/2 a can left.
3. The Body Shop - Aloe Soothing Day Cream (15ml) - 1/2 a pot left.
4. The Body Shop - Orange Natural Lip Roll-On (10ml) - I'd say there's about 9ml left.
5. L'Oreal - Casting Crème Gloss Conditioner (60ml) - I'd say there's 50ml left.
6. Clinique - Liquid Facial Soap Mild (30ml) - Just under half left.
7. Beauty Narcotix - The Ultimate Fix Spray For Nails (50ml) - 2 uses left.
8. The Body Shop - Chocomania Body Butter (50ml) - About 10ml left.
9. Clarins - Eye Revive Beauty Flash (3ml) - About 1ml left.
10. Nourish - Hydrating Peptide Serum (30ml) - Just under a 1/2 left.

So they are all my products that I aim to use up in the next couple of months. Do let me know if you've tried any of these products and what you thought of them.

What products are you wanting to use up? Have you tried Project 10 Pan?

The Lip Product TAG.

Hello everyone. I know this is quite an old TAG but I have never done it before and thought that because I am getting more into lip products day by day, that I would do this TAG and see if any of you agreed with me on some of the products, so without further a do I shall get on with this TAG.

1. Favourite Balm or Treatment
You may or may not know that I suffer with dry, cracked lips and not just in winter but all year round therefore I find it very useful to have a lip balm all year round. I haven't tried many lip balms at the moment as I've been using the same one day in and day out but it has sadly come to an end as you may have seen in my June empties post which you can read here. My favourite lip balm at the moment is the Nivea essential care lip balm. It doesn't have a tint, it is just plain but it has Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter in it - so it is really hydrating and moisturising for my lips. It's available in all drugs stores and at a mere £1.55, it's such a bargain!

2. Best Eye-Catching Red
Okay so, I have to admit, I'm not really one to wear a red lip. I'm more of a neutrals girl both with lips and eyes. Although I do have a eye-catching red that I love and you can see it in the image above and it's MAC's Russian Red lipstick. It's not an in-your-face red but it is a darker red and I feel very sophisticated when I wear it. I tend to wear it for parties and I wore it on New Year and loved it. I find that I like to wear it when I have done a smoky eye because I'm not always feeling too daring. I'm sure there are drugstore alternatives that are a lot cheaper but I just love MAC lipsticks. I love the vanilla scent and the quality is lovely and if you're willing to pay £15.50, I'd highly recommend it.

3. Best Luxury & Best Drugstore Lip Product
The only Luxury lip product I own is from MAC. I have two lipsticks; Russian Red and Lovelorn. Out of the two I prefer Lovelorn and it's my go-to lipstick. The shade is gorgeous and the finish of it is just amazing. I would happily repurchase. It isn't the highest priced lipstick compared to some lip products but it's definitely a luxury product for me. Best drugstore lip product would probably be my Nivea essential care lip balm with Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil because it's affordable and it cares for your lips. I haven't quite found a drugstore lip product such as a lipstick that I really love yet as I tend to wear my MAC lipstick in Lovelorn but I am on the hunt; hence my choice being a lip balm.

4. Best MAC Lipstick
As I mentioned above, my favourite MAC lipstick is Lovelorn, it's such a wearable colour and looks great with any make up. I love the finish and it's just a gorgeous glossy finish without being overly glossy. A few months back I did a MAC lipstick collection here but since then I have downsized slightly. My collection wasn't big to start with but I thought I'd share it anyway.
5. Most Disappointing Lip Product
I have been let down by a few lip products in the past, sadly. However I think I'd have to say the Maybelline Baby Lips was the most disappointing. I gave into the hype - I never do that now. I was so disappointing, it literally did nothing for my lips. My lips didn't repair, they stayed cracked and dry and the product for me personally is overpriced.

6. Lip Liner - Yes or No?
I'm ashamed to say that I don't own one single lip liner. Sometimes I'll use my lipstick and get a brush and line my lips but I suppose it doesn't give the same effect. I'd never say no to a lip liner, so maybe it's time I bought some. If you have any recommendations, do let me know in the comments.

7. Favourite Gloss
I don't really own many lip glosses. I own two at the most because I'm really not a fan if I'm honest. I just find them too sticky and they just don't really do anything for me. If the Dior Lip Maximizer counts as a lip gloss than I hands down recommend this product. It works wonders. It plumps up my lips and when I've used this, everyone has commented and said how good my lips look. It is a pricey one at £23.50 but it's a luxury and I love it. However, if that doesn't count than I love my Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Smitten which I think has discontinued now.

So that's the lip product TAG, I really hope you've enjoyed reading this and let me know your recommendations!

*WishWant.co.uk Review.

Hello everyone. I have finally got a brand new laptop and I can finally get back down to work and write some blog posts that I've been wanting to write. Basically to cut a long story short I had massive problems with PC World and I was 3 weeks without a laptop. But all is well now because I have a brand new one and it is a great piece of technology. Anyway, babbling aside I have a post I've been wanting to do for a while and it is about WishWant.co.uk.

WishWant.co.uk could be your solution to never buying a person an unwanted/wrong gift again. A couple of months ago, an email popped into my inbox (which got me excited to start with) from a gift-giving company called WishWant.co.uk. I was very intrigued and wanted to find out more and that is exactly what I did. The whole concept of WishWant.co.uk is that, instead of giving someone a gift which you may think is the perfect gift but to the person you are giving it to they may not like it that much, you can now with WishWant.co.uk give them a cute little book (either through the post or via email) with different gifts for them to choose from. This means that ultimately you can't lose because the person who you have sent the little book to will get to pick what they'd prefer. This way you have chosen the potential gifts but this way they get a choice in what you are gifting them. I do find that this is a little more sentimental than just a gift card. Don't get me wrong I love a good gift card but I do really love the idea behind this company.

I was lucky enough to be offered a code which gave me £15 credit on my account so that I was able to use this service. The minimum you can pay is £15. Delivery is also £5. I decided to create a book for myself (selfish, I know) but I had no occasions or anyone to gift to for a purpose and well I had all my exams coming up and thought why not treat myself. I also thought this was a good idea as this way I was able to enjoy and get the whole experience. So I received both the email and gift. You get two options to how you can send the gift booklet; via post or via email. I chose the email option because you have to pay an extra £5 to get it delivered by post and well although it looks pretty, I would probably rather save the trees.

The whole process was fairly straightforward which is what I like. When websites over complicate things I tend to get bored because at times I really don't have the patience with the amount of navigation you have to do. The gift selection was really nice and very unique. For my offer I was able to pick 4 items to choose from and so I picked a selfie stick, some hot chocolate, a beauty box and some notebooks. I did in the end pick the beauty box - I love to see what different products you can get in them.

The process is very straight forward because you just have to state how much you are wanting to spend whether it be £15 to £500 and then all you do is pick 4-12 gifts and then send the giftbook by email or post.

It was so hard to choose what 4 gifts I should pick between because they are all so good. I must admit when I went on the site the gift selection was lovely but quite limited but I have been on the website since and they have added lots of new, amazing items. My beauty box was the Latest In Beauty His and Hers Box which is £15. Now you may all be thinking 'A his and hers box, what on earth?' and yes it was a risk but there were some really nice items in the box and the items that were 'His' items I gave them to my dad as Father's Day presents - so they didn't go to waste! He was very happy about them in fact. Although I did find that whilst you have to pay at least £15, most of the gifts don't equate to this value which is quite a let down. Although my beauty box did come to this price, some of the books are only £5.95.

I was really happy with my gift and if you would like a separate post on my Latest in Beauty His and Hers Box then I will be happy to do a review post if you would like to see what I did and didn't like about the box and if I would get it in the future or any of the items in it. If you would like one, please let me know in the comments!

I do really love the whole concept behind WishWant.co.uk and I did really like their service. Delivery was a little slow but sometimes it's not always the company's fault. I do feel that the service could definitely be improved slightly and with a few more tweaks in the right direction it will be even better. One thing I will say is if you decide to use this website - definitely consider the value of the products you choose, as it would be a great shame if you spent more than necessary.

Overall though, I am very happy with WishWant.co.uk.

If you would like to have a look at the website than you can here.

Have you tried WishWant.co.uk?

June Empties.

Hello everyone. So I know I said I was getting back into blogging and I was so looking forward to it and then my laptop broke. Just typical. So while I am writing this, I am currently sat in my local library. Desperate times. I've actually found out this morning that my laptop cannot be fixed either so who knows what is going to happen. I just hope I get a new one soon because sitting in the local library is just no fun. My blog has been rather empty and this brings me onto my June empties. I would have had this post up already, if my laptop hadn't broke.

So my first empty is my lip balm. I've been using this lip balm for a year now and I absolutely love it, It is very simple and basic and it does a good job at moisturising your lips. This is the Nivea Essential Care lip balm. It has Jojaba Oil and Shea Butter. This is available in Boots for £1.55. With lip balms I am forever changing them as I like to try new ones so I wouldn't repurchase this again however I do recommend. My rating would be 7/10.

My next empty is the impulse very pink roses and grapefruit body fragrance. I got this as part of a set for Christmas so I'm not sure they'll be a link for it. It was very handy to have when out and about as it is very travel friendly. I wouldn't repurchase this though, simply because I have a lot of different body fragrances and I think there are better ones than this on the market. I'm not sure if you can purchase these sizes but I would give it a rating of 5/10.

My next empty was the Blanx white shock formula. I'm not going to go on about this product because I did a review of the whole Blanx white shock range and you can read that here. This comes as part of a set as you get an LED light with it. You can purchase it here for £7.50. I would give it a rating of 5/10.

In June I also finished my Imperial Leather Silk Anti-Perspirant deodorant which I got from Savers for £0.89p. This is just the silk deodorant and it does the job that It's meant to. I'm not too fussed about deodorants as long as they do the job that they are meant to. It was cheap and it did it's job and I would happily repurchase. It doesn't particularly smell too much and normally I go for heavy fragranced ones but overall I'd give it a 9/10.

I then finished my 750ml bottle of Johnson's baby shampoo. Now like most bloggers I don't use it as a shampoo but in fact I used it as a brush cleaner. I have been using this for months to clean my brushes. It smells lovely, it's soft and it doesn't damage your brushes and so I really love this product. It's not expensive either. I bought this bottle for £2.00. When trying to link it I could only find the gold one (I'm not sure if the one I have is the gold one) and you can buy this here for £4.00. I would definitely repurchase it and I would give it a rating of 9/10.

I also finished my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. This is the 400ml size. I actually bought this when it first came out and before it went huge in the blogosphere. I personally don't like this. I would rather use a cleanser rather than this product. My face felt so sore when using this and I'm not sure why because it has no perfume in it but it just wasn't nice. I have really persevered with this stuff because I really just couldn't get along with it. I got around 100 uses out of it. I would not repurchase this product. My overall rating would be a 2/10. You can buy it at most places for £4.99.

I then finished this shower gel which I got as part of a set for Christmas. As it was a gift I'm not sure where it was from but I didn't really like it. Personally for me it just didn't foam up very well and it didn't particularly smell of anything. Although it is travel friendly. I'm not sure where you can buy this or how much it was but I would give it a rating of 3/10. I was very grateful for this present because that meant I was able to try out a product from a brand I had never tried.

Then I finished my Britney Spears perfume in Curious and it was a nice scent. I wouldn't repurchase it as I have many more perfumes that I prefer but it was nice. It is quite a cheap perfume too so it won't break the bank. You can buy the 30ml here for £22. I would give this a rating of 4/10.

I then finished a face mask. Now I will firstly explain that I transferred this face mask into a new container. The face mask I finished was The Body Shop Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask. Which is for oily/combination skin like I have. I put it into the The Body Shop's Honeymania Bubble Bath Melt container - which I also love. I put it in there because I found it easier to get it out of that container. I really liked this face mask as it was great to control the excess oil on my face, although at times I did find that it was slightly drying on my skin. I would preferably use this in summer rather than winter as my skin is dry and dehydrated in winter and therefore I feel that it would make my skin worse as it would strip it further. You can purchase it for £13 and the container that it comes in is quite deceiving as you actually get so much product and this lasted me around 9 months and I used it twice a week. I don't think I'd repurchase this product. I would give this a rating of 8/10.

Then I finished two shampoos last month which was my holy grail shampoo from Alberto Balsam. I forever repurchase this product and I get the green apple shampoo as it is for greasy hair. I love this shampoo as it really clarifies my hair and gets rid of all the grease and dirt. It does the job as expected and is only £1. It's a total bargain and I will forever repurchase this. This must be my 20th bottle that I have finished and I just love it. If you have greasy hair like me, I really recommend this. You can buy it here for £1. I would give it a rating of 10/10. I cannot fault this product and this will always be a firm favourite of mine. I usually don't have holy grail products but this is definitely one of them.

I then decided to try another shampoo which was the L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Shampoo and as far as I know it's supposed to give your hair more volume. I could be wrong but I think that is the purpose of it. Personally I don't buy shampoos so they can give me volume, I mainly just focus on buying ones that will get rid of the grease and dirt. Personally I didn't really like this shampoo. It didn't really do anything for my hair and I found that my hair just looked constantly greasy. I know a lot of people who love this shampoo but personally it didn't work for me. You can purchase this shampoo for £3.99. I wouldn't repurchase this product. I would give this product a rating of 3/10.

The last empty of last month was some Primark PS. I Love gentle facial cleansing wipes which you can buy for £1. Personally I didn't enjoy using these as I found they burned my skin. Not literally, but I did get a burning sensation on my face when using these. I did not find them gentle in any way. As you may or may not know I use face wipes for removing swatches on my hand and I also use them to wipe my face down in a morning when I'm in a rush. I don't use them for removing make up. I wouldn't repurchase these face wipes. I would give these a rating of 2/10.

So that's all my empties from the month of June! What products did you finish last month?
