Halloween Tutorial - Witch.

Hello everyone. So I know it is halloween today and well I thought I'd give you a very basic tutorial of how to transform yourself into a witch. Me personally, I don't really like halloween and I never really have. I've never been trick or treating and it just doesn't really interest me. Hence the fact this make up look isn't very good. However I thought you could take bits of inspiration from this look!

My idea behind this make up look was to have something very basic but still looked kind of for halloween, I never wear dark lips, I just can't do it. So for this tutorial I made an exception. I went for green eyeshadow as that is what most witches commonly wear either on their face or by their clothing.

Close up of the eyes with MAC's Juxt eyeshadow. Please ignore my eyebrows I am getting them done soon!

Here are all the products that I used are:

- MAC Juxt eyeshadow
- Nivea daily essentials hydration primer
Make up revolution focus and fix brow kit in medium
Collection extreme 24 hour felt tip liner
Make up revolution concealer in natural
Collection lasting perfection in shade 1 fair
- Smashbox powder
- MUA cream blush in the shade blossom
- Make up revolution lipstick in 100% vamp
- Primark PS I love mascara
- Mally eyeliner
Laura Geller Brighten and balance colour correcting foundation
- BeautyUK Matte Bronzer in No.1 Medium

I also used the BeautyUK Posh Polish Gel FX in Midnight Iris to create a blue/black looking nail which was perfect for Halloween.

Happy Halloween!

*Moroccan Roots Review.

Today's post is about a product that I have been reviewing from the company Moroccan Roots.  This product is an organic Argan Oil. Moroccan Roots contacted me and asked me if I wanted to try their product and of course I jumped at the chance.

Produced in southern western Morocco, this product is 100% organic Argan Oil and is pure and unadulterated.

It is naturally rich in vitamin E and antioxidants.

I was expecting such high expectations of this product as this product is used by various celebrities however I wasn't wowed.

I really liked the idea behind what the product was supposed to do. However the packaging didn't wow me and it was difficult to get the product out without it spilling everywhere, although I think this may be because it was a sample - so I just want to put that out there, that the actual product packaging is easier. I love 100% natural products so this really ticked that box on that aspect.

I know this product is an oil therefore it can feel quite greasy however I used a pea sized amount on most of the things it says it can do e.g. my lips. However I found it too greasy and it made me break out really bad.

I also didn't think the customer service was as great as most company's is. I felt like I was being rushed into my decisions and I feel that, this is all wrong.

This might just be my experience but I thought I would share it with you all.

Even though I wouldn't buy this product I want to thank Moroccan Roots for letting me review this product. The 25ml bottle is £9.99.

*DISCLAIMER: This product was sent for review purposes only, all my thoughts and opinions are 100% honest and are all my own.

Thank you!

Thank you all so much for your support. I keep saying thank you and I'm sure it's getting on your nerves by now but I wanted to tell you what I have taken from the comments.

As you may have seen I've finally finished my giveways which was to celebrate me and my blog reaching 500 Bloglovin' followers and if you didn't know I held 5 giveaways. I got a lot of feedback from you guys about what giveaways you would like me to hold on my blog and I had a variety. Your answers varied from hair products to beauty products, to food and nail products and most of you said you'd like products from brands that are small or you've never heard of before. So I am taking all these into consideration and will do these type of giveaways at some point on this blog.

If you have anymore suggestions of what giveaways you'd like on my blog - feel free to tell me in the comments! Also what blog posts would you like to see on my blog?

October started where I didn't even know if I'd have one post for each week to put up but I've been working hard and have managed to do more than enough for October. At the start of October I had 5 posts scheduled and by the end I had about 20 - so hopefully I haven't disappointed you all. I have found it really hard to balance my school work and my blog as I've just had so much put on me recently and I've not been feeling too good. In the last 3 months I've been trying to adapt my diet, my supplements and have been for several blood tests and appointments and the doctors can't seem to figure out what is wrong with me, it's an ongoing process.

Again I want to thank you for all your comments, support, tweets, emails and a special thank you for reading my blog - I have been blogging for 10 months now and I have nearly 700 readers which is just mad!

I hope you've all had a fabulous October, let's hope November is the same!

My favourite youtubers.

Hello everyone. As you may have guessed, this month in October has been a fairly quiet one on the posts. I've only been posting once or twice a week in October. Mainly because I haven't had chance to sit down. I'm normally really organised as I've said before and would normally have all of October scheduled by the beginning of September but unfortunately that is not how it has panned out.

So today I thought I'd share with you my favourite youtubers, now I watch a lot of youtubers but here are my top 10, in no particular order...

1. Velvetgh0st

2. Zoella

3.  Essie Button

4.. Tanya Burr

5. SprinkleOfGlitter

6. Twinkle Lashes

7. TalkBeckyTalk

8. Fleurdeforce

9. MegsBoutique.

10. Danisnotonfire

As  I say, I watch hundreds of youtubers but these are just some that I've been loving at the moment.

What are your favourite youtubers?

What I've Won #2

Hello all. So last month you may have seen that I had been very lucky and had won quite a few giveaways and if you didn't see it, you can see it here.

So at the middle of September I found out that I had won the lovely Kat's (Talesofpaleface) 's giveaway and bagged a eyeshadow palette of my choice and I decided to choose the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. If you don't already follow or read Kat's blog then you can have a look here.

So a couple of weeks ago I received my gorgeous palette and thought I'd share a few pictures with you. I haven't used or tried this palette yet but when I do I'll be sure to put up some make up tutorials.

So firstly I was greeted by this gorgeous packaging but it only gets better.

Also I got 4 eyeshadow primers so I can't wait to try those out.

I love all the shades especially the pink shades and of course blackheart.

I just want to say a massive thank you to Kat once again because without this giveaway I probably wouldn't have jumped on the Urban Decay bangwagon for quite some time. Mainly because I have no money because I have no job. I will be sure to do a review of this once I've tried each shade I just wanted to share what I had won.

What are your thoughts on the Naked 3 palette?

Becoming 16.

Becoming 16 was a weird one. Now you must be sat reading this like 'what is she on about?' well basically when I was like 11 - I couldn't wait to grow up and be 16 and now here I am at 16 years of age. Feeling well, sad. I feel like I have reached that stage where I am like Peter Pan - I don't want to grow up. I know that we all have to grow up whether we like it or not but it just feels strange.

For the past 2 years I haven't enjoyed my birthdays, I mean they just feel weird to me. I still get the butterflies a day before and all giddy but then it gets to the day and I'm just like 'oh'. I think it's because I'm at school and that limits me to how much I can do.

So now that I'm 16... nothing has changed. Only that I'm a year older, I don't feel it but I know I am.

Basically today is a bit of a pointless post but I thought I would post it anyway just because I thought you might like to hear about me becoming 16.

I didn't do anything remotely exciting on my birthday but I did get lots of nice messages which was always nice, it made me smile.

So it doesn't matter what age you are, just enjoy every moment of your birthday, even if you don't find them exciting anymore.

Now I've rambled on, I think I may go but I thought I would add that if you want me to do any posts e.g. my story on bullying. Just let me know in the comments and I shall read through them.

Have a great week wherever you are!

Let the Spending Ban commence!

It's a jar full of pennies

Hello everyone. So as the title is suggesting. I'm going on a spending ban. This is for my benefit and I know that I'm doing it for all the right reasons. I've never done a spending ban before, I've been thinking about it but I've never actually done one. I've come to the conclusion that I've spent far too much money this year and need to stop. Recently it was my 16th Birthday (8th October) so I got a few gifts, cards and a bit of money. I decided that I would not be spending any of my birthday money and instead I have put it in the bank.

I have decided also to do a spending ban for not one month but for two. October-December is a season or time where I spend too much money, mainly because it's coming up to christmas but because I have money. So if I don't have money, I can't spend it and it's as simple as that really.

So I'm doing a spending ban from the 16th October till the 16th December. Wish me lots of luck because I'm probably going to need it.

I'm actually looking forward to just using the products that I have already that need using up and then once I've used them all up, I will buy some more. I'm pretty sure though that some products have over 2 months of usage in them. Most of them are brand new so most of them should last me into next year.

If you have any tips and tricks for a spending ban, do let me know! Also if you are doing a spending ban yourself or have done one, I'd love to hear all about them!

Until next time!

Rehearsals, Rehearsals, Rehearsals.

As you can see by the title and this photo again, I am talking about my perform that is happening in 8 days which is really scary. I have learnt my lines, can I get a whoop whoop? It is really crunch time for all of us that are rehearsing but as a team we will get through it. I'm really under the weather at the moment and I went for a blood test last week. I'm just trying to power through everything.

I just can't wait to be able to focus on my studies properly and not have something else to worry about. Since July I have worried about this and so it will be a big weight off my shoulders.

I've done productions and shows all my life really. I started off at 3 years old dancing, doing ballet until I was 5 when I quit. I got fed up of not being able to excel and so that was the end of that. Then In Reception I played the main part in the christmas production and I was Mary - I was so happy. My Nana and Auntie came to see me and they told me I was screaming the lyrics to "Away In A Manger" at the top of my lungs, I was holding the plastic baby upside down and I was banging it's head against the cot - Classy! I then took part in all the school productions that I had to and I really enjoyed them. One of my favourites was when we did High School Musical and I was Mrs Darbus.

I then took part in the school choir for one year. I didn't really enjoy it and all I really remember was singing Shine  and Rule The World by Take That.

When I went to High School I started Amateur Dramatics outside of school and did Oliver, A music mashup kind of show and Fiddler on the Roof. I enjoyed doing this. I sadly left because I wasn't interested anymore.

In Year 8 I started participating in the school shows and I have done Bugsy Malone and Hairspray. In Year 9 I started doing Shakespeare too.

I also took GCSE Drama last year and got a C overall but I just don't feel like Drama is the right thing for me in my career route.

Have any of you been in a performance? How did you handle it? Have you any handy tips?

17 Before 17.

Hello all, if you didn't already know. I turned 16, 2 days ago. Scary stuff. So basically I had seen some posts about 30 before 30 and I felt inspired. So I have decided to come up with a bucket list kind of thing for me to do 17 things before I'm 17. This probably won't work very good but I'm going to give it a good go.

1. Give an anonymous random gift. (At some point I want to send a random act of kindness gift to a fellow blogger and you guys will get the chance to be involved)

2. 12 weeks of DIY.

3. Read 10 books.

4. Finish my GCSEs.

5. Start College.

6. Get a part time job.

7. See a favourite band/artist in concert.

8. Go phone free for a whole weekend.

9. Make a scrapbook.

10. Have a spa day.

11. Go for a meal with my friends.

12. Reach 1000 Bloglovin' followers.

13. Be happy with myself.

14. Start at the gym again.

15. Declutter everything I no longer need.

16. Make my own notebook.

17. Go to a Spa.

So they are 17 things that I am going to attempt to do before I am 17. Fingers crossed and I will tell you my process throughout the year.

What I've found challenging recently: Learning Lines.

Hello everyone, I hope you're all enjoying your October. Mine is very busy and very stressful but I'm trying to make the most of it. You may have known that I have been learning my lines for quite a while now and I'm finding it quite challenging. The performance is in just under 3 weeks and I am so nervous for it but once it's out of the way I'll not be as worried or stressed. This is my last show that I will be doing/taking part in at my high school.

I've nearly learnt all my lines but I'm struggling to remember them. This was just a quick post to update you on the whole acting goings on in my life.

Do any of you lovelies have any tips for remembering/learning lines?

IT'S MY 16TH BIRTHDAY.

Paris

Hello all. So as you may have guessed by the title it's my 16th birthday today and well I thought I'd share it all with you. I'm sure I will share all the things I have gotten today at some point, when I get round to it aha.

It feels weird to be saying that I'm 16 when I still feel about 12. I have to literally pause every time someone asks me how old I am because I always say I'm 14 aha, it's so mad.

I know most people for their 16th have a party and have a wild night but I don't intend to do anything. I'm at school all day so by the time I get home I just want to get in my PJ's and open my mail that I may have got.

I do have a few plans for the weekend with my dad and little brother and some of my friends have got a "surprise" for me, so I have no idea if I will do anything.

I'm sure you'll find out what I do!

I hope you all have a great day because I intend to!

The Make Up Tag.

Hello everyone, I hope you're all enjoying your October. Mine is very busy but I'm still trying to get the posts on the blog. So today I thought I'd do The Make Up Tag as I have never done this before and I think it will be really good to do, so I'll get started.

WHAT FOUNDATION DO YOU USE?
I actually don't really use foundation anymore, I'm more of a CC cream kind of gal however the last foundation I used was the Rimmel 25 hour foundation and you can see my review of it here.

HOW ABOUT CONCEALER?
I love concealer so much it is a holy grail product to put on my face. I'm experimenting with a few concealers at the moment but my favourite is the collection lasting perfection concealer. I also have a review of the collection illuminating touch concealer here.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF FALSE EYELASHES?
I think other people look so lovely with false eyelashes but I have never actually wore any before. My eyelashes are naturally quite long so I don't see the need to wear them.

WHAT BRAND MASCARA DO YOU USE?
I use quite a few mascaras but my two holy grail mascaras are my Mally mascara, which I did a whole Mally review here and my Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara which you can have a read of my review of it here. The most disappointing brand of mascara I have used this year is probably the Revlon Lash Potion which I again reviewed here.

SEPHORA OR MAC?
I will have to choose MAC seen as I have never tried anything from Sephora.

WHAT MAKEUP TOOLS DO YOU USE IN APPLICATION?
I use a range of brushes from a foundation, blush and bronzer brush as well as eyeshadow ones from my brush collection from mydressroom. I did a review here.

DO YOU USE MAKEUP BASE/EYESHADOW PRIMER FOR THE EYES?
Yes I use the Nivea Essentials Hydrating Primer which is so good.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVE EYESHADOW?
I don't actually have a favourite eyeshadow but my favourite eyeshadow palette is my Mally palette which my review is here.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF PIGMENT EYESHADOWS?
I only own one pigment eyeshadow and it's from Makeup Revolution and I don't think it's too good, I just prefer eyeshadows.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVE LIPSTICK?
My current favourite lipstick is my MAC lipstick in Chatterbox.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVE BLUSHER TO USE?
My favourite blusher to use is my MUA cream blusher in the shade Blossom because it gives a really healthy glow.

DO YOU LIKE DRUGSTORE MAKEUP?
Yes, most of my makeup is drugstore.

NAME A MAKEUP CRIME YOU HATE?
Pencil drawn on eyebrows when they've shaved their eyebrows off.

DO YOU LIKE COLOURFUL SHADES OF MAKEUP OR NEUTRAL ONES?
I'm a neutral kinda gal!

IF YOU COULD LEAVE THE HOUSE WITH JUST ONE MAKEUP UP ITEM WHAT WOULD IT BE?
A lipstick!

COULD YOU LEAVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT ANY MAKEUP ON?
Yes, I hardly ever wear makeup.

IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT IS THE BEST MAKEUP LINE?
Maybe MAC.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MAKEUP?
I love makeup.

Thanks for reading!

Autumn Tag.

Autumn leaves

Hello everyone. So today I am writing a Autumn Tag mainly because I was tagged by the lovely Jacqueline who's blog is here. I absolutely adore Autumn - mainly because it's my birthday (I'm 16 in 7 days!) and because I love how the leaves fall. I could go on and on. Recently I have ran out of ideas for blog posts and normally I am so organised with a whole months worth of posts written but this month has been tricky. So sorry if there is a lack of posts! I'm working on it.

Since being back at school I have tonnes and tonnes of work to do and it's really no fun. As it is my last year at high school (Year 11 is not fun at all.) I really do need to focus on my studies. October is also a really busy month for me, I have a workshop, a performance, various appointments, my birthday and a load of work to do. I'm also tired all the time so basically blogging has really took a back step. I'm trying my best though. I've also had lots of giveaways going on (5 weeks worth) and it has been very hectic.

Anyways onto the TAG...

 1) What's your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks/ Costa/ Cafe Nero etc?
This is going to sound absolutely silly. Although I've been to Starbucks twice, Costa once and Cafe Nero not even once. I can't tell you what my favourite seasonal drink is from these places. Although when it gets colder there is nothing more I enjoy better than a hot chocolate.

2) Accessories - What do you opt for, scarf, boots, gloves?
This is a hard one for me as I wear gloves and scarves and boots. I love my boots because they are comfy and warm but then I love my gloves to keep my hands warm. I'm going to say gloves because they are a life saver in winter.

3. Music - What's your favorite music to listen to during Autumn?
Last year all I listened to in Autumn was Autumn Leaves by Ed Sheeran. I love Ed Sheeran's music and that will probably be what I listen to this autumn although I do love The 1975.

4. Perfume - What's your favourite scent for this time of year?
My favourite scent for this time of the year is Beyonce - Heat. I like to perfume because it isn't too expensive and if we were going for an expensive one, I'd say Angel by Thierry Mugler.

5. Candles - What scents will you be burning this season?

Is it weird that I don't buy candles... Maybe I should invest in some Yankee Candles.

6. What do you love most about Autumn?
Jumpers, Cardigans and anything warm. It gives me an excuse to get the coat out and keep cosy and warm in my Pyjamas.

7. Favorite make-up look?
In autumn I tend to wear Smokey eyes, just because they complement my eyes and I just love warm browns or bronze colours.
I tag:
