Dermalogica │ Review. ♥

Hello!

So today's post is going to be where I review the dermalogica dermal clay cleanser which is £27.00 which is quite a lot of money however one of my local beauty shops had this for £8.90 which is a lot cheaper than the normal price. However even if it is £27.00 it is great value for money. It really does do a great job as it purifies, refines and controls shine and as I have oily skin this really is my cleanser staple.

I love the packaging as it is very plain but looks very cute along with other beauty products on your table.
On the dermalogica website they claim:

"Purify and refine oily skin with this deep-cleansing clay formula, containing oil-absorbing, water-soluble Kaolin and Green clays. Calming Cucumber and Sage soothe, while refreshing Menthol revitalizes even the most tired skin. Formulated without artificial fragrances and colors."

I can happily say that this product does most of the things it claims. It does purify and refine oily skin and this is great because I always worry about the amount of oil on my face. It is very deep- cleansing and it makes your face tingle and it definitely absorbs the oil in your face. It revitalizes my tired skin slightly and makes me look more bright and healthier. I would definitely buy this again as I have recently finished it and it has lasted me a whole year.

Rating out of 10: 10/10

Have you tried any dermalogica products and what did you think?

Thanks for reading!

Rings and Tings #2 ♥

Bonjour!

So today I am bringing you another post about the fabulous company Rings and Tings. You can see my other post about them here.

So you're all probably wondering what lovely jewellery pieces I have received and I can't wait to show them to you all!

Firstly I have received a rather unusual ring to me. It is the metallic knuckle ring  and at first I was wondering how on earth to wear it as well I'm used to midi rings and small rings so to get a very chunky ring it was very different. I decided on how I would wear it and I actually like how it looks - It's like a mirror ring and so you'll have to be careful for the finger marks but it is a very nice ring and for only £4 what a bargain!

Next I have the Arrow Pendant Necklace which is only £3.50 wow! Can you believe that?! It is this gorgeous arrow necklace and it looks so nice with any outfit.

Finally I got the Luck Bracelet  which I think is perfect seeing as I have my exams coming up very very soon and so I intend to wear this through my exams. It is so pretty and I love the lettering! This is £8 too!

Lush │ Charity Pot Sample Review.♥

Hola!

So today I thought you might like to see a product from my Lush haul that I did ages ago so I thought I would chose my less favourite product out of my Haul which is a sample of the charity pot. It was only £1.00  and the money goes to charity so I thought I would buy it.

The packaging is fairly plain.

The cream is quite watery but gloopy.

Advantages
- The money goes to charity.
- Travel sized therefore you can take it anywhere with you.

Disadvantages
- The smell is not very nice, so I dislike the smell.
- It's gloopy but it's also watery.
- The packaging is in a tin and it is quite challenging to open.
- Made my hands feel sticky.

Overall I didn't like this product as the smell was quite disgusting and it made my hands quite sticky. The packaging is quite a challenge to open and as the product is either gloopy or watery it gets everywhere. I wouldn't buy this product again or the full version of it but as it was for charity I didn't mind too much.

Have you tried this? What did you think?

Story of my life ♥│TAG.

Hello everyone!

Today I thought I'd do the Story Of My Life Tag - I tend to do Tags after everyone has done them as I mainly publish all my ideas first so here goes...

1. Where and when was your birth?
- I was born in Scunthorpe in England on 8th October 1998.

2. Who chose your name (s) and was there a reason?
- I don't even know who chose my name as I've never asked, all I know is I'm called Megan Reanne.

3. Earliest childhood memory?

- I have some from being a baby/little one and they weren't so nice so my first good memory would probably going dancing at the age of 4.

4. What were your hobbies as a child?

- I don't think I even had hobbies as a child except for dancing. I danced from the age of 4-6 and then I got bored so I stopped. I miss it now though. I tend to get bored of my hobbies really easily and that was sadly one of them.

5. Do you have any siblings?
- I do, I have 7 half brothers and 3 half sisters however I only see 3 of them.

6. Funny story of something you did or said as a child that still makes you cringe?
- Well, if you're eating your food maybe skip to the next question but when I was about 2/3 I got potty trained and I remember this one time I went in the kitchen and I was quiet and my grandad shouted "What you doing?" and I shouted back "I'm on my potty having a poo!!!" It makes me laugh and cringe now but it's what kids do.

7. Did you do well at school (are you doing well at school?)
- I personally think that I'm not doing as well as I should be but I seem to be doing okay.

8. First teenage celebrity crush?
- Leonardo Di Caprio.

9. Favourite song (s) of all time?
- I don't think I can answer this because I have far too many. Probably Tragedy by Steps or most of the S Club 7 songs and Busted and Mcfly. The list goes on...

10. Favourite moment or memory of your life so far?
Difficult I have quite a few...
- My Dad getting married in Summer 2012
- My little brother Alfie being born on 9th May 2010
- Living with my nana and grandad.
- Portugal 2013

11. Have you fulfilled any of your dreams or ambitions yet?
- Yes I have! I flew to a different country on a plane and didn't get homesick but I haven't really fulfilled my dream of becoming either a teacher or journalist - I'm not sure what I want to do.

12. What are your dreams and ambitions for the future?
- I hope to either be a teacher or journalist and maybe even travel the world a bit.

The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger ♥│TAG

Hola everyone!

I present... The procrastinating beauty blogger TAG and don't even deny it we can all relate! This Tag was created by The Beau Bow but sadly I did not get TAG by anyone but I thought it would be really nice to do this. I feel like I never get tagged in anything but I still want to do them. I want to tag everyone to do this post.

Rules:

1. You must copy and paste these 'rules' onto your post when you write it, it doesn't take long!.
2. You must state that this tag was created by 'The Beau Bow' and link www.thebeaubow.blogspot.com
3. You must thank the person who tagged you at the start of your post (link their blog as well) - follow them if you're feeling nice!, and then at the end of your post state who you tag, and then comment on their blog on their latest post to let them know you tagged them, and link your post so they can see what to do.
4. Title this post 'The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger TAG' so everyone knows what it is about.
5. Have Fun!

1) Name a beauty regime that you rarely do?
I rarely ever do fake tan or moisturizing which I know is really bad but I just kind of forget and now my skin has turned into combination.

2) Is washing your make-up brushes something that you do regularly?
Funnily enough I have only recently got some make up brushes as I've always used sponges, puffers or my fingers but I've only used them once but I will definitely be washing them regularly - every 2 weeks.

3) How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
It depends really. Sometimes it can be a few days and other times I can go 3 weeks. It all depends on my mood and if I have time because I prioritize my school work and I get a lot of it!

4) How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?
I can truthfully say I have never had to replace a beauty product as I tend to have a few of each and I tend to not buy new ones as I hate spending money. - I would only replace a product if it was out of date.

5) What is your worst beauty habit?
Hm, this is a hard one. I don't tend to wear make up every day but when I do I tend to do the same thing and I feel like I should experiment with different blushes and different eyeshadows.

6) Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
My school work - at times. As I said my main concern is my school work but sometimes depending on what it is takes time. I can spend up to 3 hours doing one piece.

7) When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute?
I never leave getting ready to the last minute. I normally start preparing an hour in advance but then I end up rushing at the last minute anyway.

8) Can you commit to spending bans?
Tricky as I have never actually committed to a spending ban but I plan to soon.

9) How organised is your makeup and nail polish collection?
It's not organised at all. Haha! Something I definitely need to change.

*BeautyUK Review. #2 ♥

Hello all!

I'm very excited to tell you about some more BeautyUK products that I have kindly been sent to review - As you know I reviewed some of their products before and you can read about them here and today I have some more to share with you. I would firstly like to start off by thanking the wonderful team at BeautyUK for letting me review their products - Their customer service is so good!

Anyways onto the products...

So firstly I got sent another high brow all in one brow definition kit which I am happy about because I got sent this last time and I have had chance to experiment with it. Basically I love the packaging of this product and it's travel sized so you can take it with you anywhere.

Now onto the exploring - I actually struggle with my brows as they are quite thick and bushy and they like to be two different colours - yep that's right I have different coloured brows. This kit comes with some handy tweezers and a brush along with some wax and 3 various colours depending on how dark your brows are - Now mine are nearly black and I always find it hard to make them look natural but on one brow I have been using the lighest shade and then on the other one I've been mixing the lightest shade and the medium shade together so they don't look too odd. I love this kit as it's so easy to use and I would recommend it as it is super cheap too. You can buy it here for £3.99.

The next thing I received was the compact face powder and wow it's fabulous! I always struggle to find a powder that is light enough for my face that doesn't make me have orange strands through my face and I need one that will make my skin look even and this definitely does the job. I love this particularly because it is a compact which means I can pop it in my bag and I'm not worried that the top is going to come off. You can buy it here for £3.99 and mine is in the shade no.1.

I have never seen such a light colour for a powder and as I haven't tried the Rimmel Stay Matte powder I thought I'd give this a go first.

If you also lift up the second type of lid you get a puff (is that even what you call it) for what you can apply it with however I used my powder brush from mydressroom. However I still think it's a good idea to have one just in case you don't want to carry a brush around with you.

Next I got the posh palette in eden which I liked the look of because they are pretty neutral and I like to keep my eyes as natural as possible. They have 2 other palettes to choose from but I thought this was perfect. It reminds me of the MUA Undress Me Too palette and I was super excited to try these. I don't think they are very pigmented so you have to put quite a lot on if you want a noticeable amount on. I love the packaging. You can buy it here for £5.99.

You get a little mirror too and a brush.

Now to talk about each shade - they don't have any names so I decided to name them.
1- Is a pale brown and this is great to use for a smokey eye.
2 - This is a lighter brown than number 1 and it looks lovely on it's own.
3 - I used number 3 for my make up to a party I went to and it looked so lovely on my eyes and made me look so awake - It's a pearl kind of colour.
4,5,6,7,10 - I haven't used any of these yet but I think these colours will be great in the crease of your eye.
8 - Is a grey colour and it's nice to wear with eye liner.
9 - This is great for a colour under the bottom lashes when you're doing a smokey eye - really brightens the eyes up.

Next I got a baked blush which I was very intrigued by because I have never tried a bake blush and wondered how it would look.

I opened it and wow I was greeted by this gorgeous rose colour and it looks so lovely on the apples of your cheeks - It gives you that healthy flush that you need. This is called rose rouge and you can buy it here for £3.99.

Swatch of the baked blush.

Next I got a blush and brush in the shade rustic peach - I have never tried a peach kind of blush so I was very excited to experiment with this. These are £2.99 and you can buy one here.

These blushes have a phraze imprinted into it which is 'make a statement' and it is a gorgeous colour - I tried this as a blush but personally I would use it as a blush/contour so instead of using a contour use this and then blend it across the apples of your cheeks - It makes even the palest of people (aka me) look quite tanned and healthy.

Swatch of Rustic Peach.

Finally I got the Urban Girl Nail Set and it had a range of colours that I really liked - You can buy this here for £4.99.

Here are the nail varnishes out of the packaging.

Firstly there is this really nice snowy white colour which is nice if you want a plain kind of nail.

Secondly is a orange colour and it is a lot darker than it looks - This will be perfect for summer.

Next is a green colour - This is quite a dark green but I feel like again this will be perfect for summer.

Here is a grey colour and this will be good if you are wearing a dark outfit or in winter.

Next is a gorgeous blue which you can wear in all seasons.

Finally we have a reddy-pink colour which would be good for a change.

Here are what all the colours look like on a nail wheel.

In my last review of my products from BeautyUK I asked you guys if you would like a Get Ready With Me Post and so I have created a look with some products from BeautyUK - They aren't all BeautyUK but most of them are and if you want to know how to get this look tell me in the comments below and I shall do a post.

I would like to thank the lovely team at BeautyUK for sending me these fabulous products to review as it's been a pleasure.
